Audemars Piguet Royal Oak

TTRO! Not to be confused with a TTTTRO. It's a two tone Royal Oak, but not a TEENY TINY two tone Royal Oak. Had to throw a bone to those out there looking to go above 25mm. Clocking in at 33mm, however, this is still smaller than most would venture to go, but it wears larger on the wrist. It has the very masculine, 70s energy that I adore about the original Royal Oak design, balanced out by the ultra-thin case. I love love love love love love love this watch and wish I could buy it myself, especially before it rises in value. This reference tends to be slept on, but more people (the smart ones, anyway!) are starting to notice its beauty.

A stainless steel and solid 18 carat yellow gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak ultra thin with Quartz movement. This watch is presented in superb and original condition. The case lines remain very sharp throughout. There are very few signs of wear to the case or bracelet. The bracelet is the iconic version of the jumbo model, which is integrated into the watch case. It is also in excellent condition, with no signs of stretch. The original clasp is working well, securing firmly.

The dial on this watch is the classic ​​”Tapisserie” waffle style dial in a flat smokey grey with white printing, including the hash mark minute track and applied 18k gold baton hour markers and hand set, filled with luminous material showing evenly and identically under UV light. This model also includes the quick set date located at the three o’clock position. The watch is signed “Swiss Made” at the six o’clock position.  

The watch is presented in unusually good condition. These examples are normally found either heavily worn or very over polished. This is neither. It is in superb condition throughout. Also, do not be fooled by the 33mm size of this watch. It appears much bigger on the wrist and is one not to be overlooked. The very thin, only 7mm thick case is also very comfortable.  These watches, like their bigger brothers, are being increasingly sought out and continue to rise in price.
