Timex Intrepid Dimepiece Edition

Earlier this year, Alan Bedwell (aka Foundwell) and I worked with Timex to reissue their Intrepid watch from 1995, made famous by JFK Jr. But THIS piece  – Dimepiece's first ever official watch collaboration! –  is our riff on that classic, scaled down and accented with the Dimepiece signature shade of purple and a creamy vintage-inspired dial. Reducing the size from the original 46mm to a very wearable 36mm was important to tangibly convey my mission to get MORE watches on MORE wrists, as not everyone can pull off the larger case sizes (sadly) inherent in most modern sports watches. I wear this Timex, but Alan wears it too. It looks good on both of us and on most girls, guys, gays, theys... Really anyone craving a sporty, versatile watch for those long, dreamy days in Cape Cod or wherever you "summer" (it works just as well on the mean streets of New York City). It can go under water up to 100 meters, so don't be afraid to get wet.
