Tudor Princess

This watch is called the Princess, and aptly so. Not a mighty king, not a sternly regal queen, but a charming princess. Pink and cute, but important, nonetheless. We love this watch for her color and size (the smallest watch in the Tudor collection, but still automatic!), but also because you rarely see this out and about. It takes a certain level of confidence and style to pull off this teeny tiny watch. Truly fit for a princess.

THE NITTY GRITTY:
An unusual example of the smallest watch in the line up in the Tudor collection. Produced in the early 2000’s, this example features a sapphire crystal along with the more practical quick set date function making it overall a very wearable and durable every day option.
The dial color is the very pretty, and the less common salmon pink for this model features a mi of applied Arabic numerals and classic stick markers. The luminous material used on the dial and in the classic baton hands is super luminova here, which replaced the earlier Tritium used up until the end of the 1990’s. Hence no “T Swiss T” – instead it is stamped “Swiss Made” marking at the base of the dial. It is all original and remains untouched and in excellent condition, featuring all lume plots intact that have remained very close to their factory white color. The color of this type of newer luminous material is stabilized and will not change over time.
The black non-serif printing of the text and chapter ring, which in this example is encircle the applied markers, show cleanly against the background color of the dial. The classic baton hands are fitted and also contain the original luminous material, which matches the plots perfectly and respond the same under ultraviolet light.
The case is presented in excellent condition throughout. There is very little wear to the watch overall. It is fair to say it has barely been worn. The case is unpolished and even has the original Tudor holographic case back stick present. The original stainless steel bracelet is also in superb condition, very tight, with no wear to the deployant buckle. This watch, overall, is in excellent condition, as close to new as you will find. If you are looking for a watch that can be worn for every occasion, every day, then this is the one for you! It is also presented with its original Tudor white card outer box and wooden inner box.
